These Terms and Conditions cover all services offered by Collect & Clean when you use them.

While we aim for accuracy in the information, descriptions, and images we provide, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all our services.

We reserve the right to change, reject, or cancel your order when necessary. If we cancel and you’ve already paid, we’ll refund the full amount. It’s your responsibility to check your payment method for the refund.

Collect & Clean provides the following laundry services:

1. Wash, Dry and Fold

2. Pre-treatment and soaking

3. Ironing

4. Pick up & Delivery

Personal Items

Please check all of your garments for pens, money, jewellery or other valuables prior to handover. Be especially careful of leaving cigarette lighters and other dangerous flammable Items inside garments that may harm not only your items but our equipment during a wash or dry cycle. We cannot be held liable for the loss of any such articles or the damage it may cause your garments. Damage to our machines may result in repair costs being handed back to the customer.

A lost property box is held in our office so please feel free to contact us if you believe anything has been misplaced. Any lost property items not claimed within 30 days will be donated to the charity.

Pick up and Delivery

Collect & Clean reserves the right to determine the pickup and delivery times at its own discretion and reserves the right to reschedule such times upon prior notice to the customer.

Customers are responsible for making sure their laundry is ready for pickup on the scheduled date and time. This can be done in two ways:

1. Someone must be at home during the booked pickup time.

2. Laundry should be placed outside for collection at the scheduled time, but this is done at the customer’s own risk.

Collect & Clean will not be held responsible if the laundry is left unattended at the customer’s address. Not having the laundry ready for pickup may lead to a missed collection and service delays and/or surcharge.

We will strive to provide you with the best service within our advertised timeframe. However, if something beyond our control causes us to fail or delay in meeting our obligations under these terms, we won’t be held responsible.

Delivery

Customers must be home to receive delivery of clean laundry. If nobody is at the agreed upon address at the booked date and time, clean laundry will be left at the address in a location of our choosing unless otherwise agreed upon prior to delivery. Collect & Clean will take a photo as Proof Of Delivery.

Collect & Clean will accept no responsibility (in cases of weather, theft, damage or otherwise) for customers’ laundry being left unattended.

Garment Damage and Suitability of Laundering

We exercise utmost care in cleaning and processing garments entrusted to us and use such processes which, in our opinion, are best suited whilst using industrial washing and tumble drying machines.

Wash, Dry and Fold Orders

We will not be liable for damage to items as we wash by the load and do not inspect the care labels of each garment. For garments that need to be specially treated i.e. leather, silk, cashmere, fur, velvet and other delicate garments, please ensure that these items can be machine washed and tumble dried. We cannot be held accountable for any pre-existing weaknesses or defects in materials that might result in tears or small holes during the cleaning process. We can not guarantee against colour loss, colour bleeding, and shrinkage or against damage to weak and tender fabrics. Garments are cleaned entirely at your own risk, and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for any damage or fading as a result of the industrial cleaning process.

While we offer a pre-treatment and soaking option, there is no guarantee that all stains will be removed during the processing of the washing.

Laundry items are tagged by the load and not individually tagged, therefore, we cannot accept any liability for missing items. We exercise the utmost care in processing the garments received in order to avoid misplacement or loss of items.

We have CCTV technology and order tracking software to help us determine any loss in a quick and timely manner through each of our workflow processes. In the instances where items may be misplaced or lost, we ask that you advise us of any discrepancy within 24 hours of receipt of your garments so that we may investigate the matter with our CCTV cameras and make a determination. No claims for damages will be recognised unless you advise us of the same within 24 hours of collecting the garments.

Laundry Bags

Collect & Clean’s signature black and teal laundry bags remain the property of Collect & Clean. Our branded laundry bags can be supplied to customers for pick-up and delivery services. If bags are not returned when requested, a charge of $25 plus GST will apply per bag.

Privacy

We will use your customer information as part of our regular service to you. Your privacy is important to us, and we assure you that we will handle your information with the utmost care and security. We will not use your information in ways that you haven’t agreed to. Providing us with accurate and current personal information helps us serve you better by:

1. Contacting you about any issues that may come up while handling your garments.

2. Sending you special promotional materials by mail.

3. Processing your credit card payments.

We will not sell, rent, or share our information database. However, we may share information with third parties if you consent to process your information requests.

Accounts

When you create an account on our Site, you agree to the following:

1. You are solely responsible for your account and the security and privacy of your account, including passwords or sensitive information attached to that account; and

2. All personal information you provide to us through your account is up to date, accurate, and truthful and that you will update your personal information if it changes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you are using our Site illegally or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.

Limitation of Liability

Collect & Clean and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees.

Payment Terms for Wash, Dry & Fold Service

All quoted prices are exclusive of GST and are subject to change without notice.​

All payments to be received prior to the due date on your invoice.​

Commercial customers may choose to open a credit account with us. Upon filling out a credit application form we will endeavour to approve within 48 hours in most cases.  This account will only be able to be used for our Wash, Dry & Fold delivery service

Events Outside Our Control

We will always endeavour to give you the best service possible with the turnaround time we advertise, however we will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, or any of our obligations under these terms that is caused by an Event Outside Our Control.  An Event Outside Our Control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control including sudden family loss or staffing issues, or the reasonable control of any of our service providers including (without limitation) strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, or closure or failure of public infrastructure or public or private telecommunications networks.

If an event outside our control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under these Terms:

1. The store may need to be closed.

2. We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you; and

3. Our obligations under these Terms will be suspended and the time for performance of Our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Event Outside Our Control; or

4. You may cancel your order, or we may cancel it
